Supported Linux distributions

To be fair, there are so many Linux distributions that we have not tested them all. We simply do not know if they all work or if there are any issues. When you are trying a Linux version which is not listed as supported then please contact the support desk. We like to know when something new is tried, if it works, and how well.

The following Linux distributions have been tested and are reported to be functional.

  • Unbuntu
  • Arch
  • Debian

Supported Mono versions

To make the HTS platform work on Linux we are using the Mono framework. Since recently Microsoft has taken over the development of Mono and are pushing many updates, some updates work and some updates can give issues.

The following version of Mono have been tested and are reported to be functional.

  • Mono v5.0.1.1
  • Mono v5.12.0.301

Installation

In general there is no installation required, we have icluded a script (SH file) which will take care of the installation of Mono. However for the event it goes wrong we have also listed the procedure to do it manually.

Pre-installation of the Mono framework

apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mono-complete
apt-get update

The installation itself

tar -zxvf linux32.tar.gz

This is how we can start the haasbot

bash Haasbot.sh

To confirm its all working, enter

netstat

... and then HTS should be listed on port 8090 and 8092.

Setting Up HTS

Now you are ready to Enter your license key
