HTS's Trade Bot executes trades based on Indicators, Insurances, and Safeties. It is the most commonly used bot that HTS currently offers because of it's flexibility which allows a user to configure very simple or extremely complex trading strategies.
How the Trade Bot Works
HTS receives Trade Signals from different Indicators and/or Safeties. After receiving the Trade Signal (Buy or Sell), the bot will cross reference it against any applied Insurances to see if the trade should go through. Below is a visualization of how HTS's Trade Bot works.
Trade Bot Indicators
As stated above, the HTS trade bot is designed to receive its basic Trade Signals from technical analysis Indicators. Each Indicator trades based on a specific time frame, which can be changed to fit the user's preferences. The time frames range from 1 minute (for high frequency trading) to 3 days. Here is a list of the currently supported Indicators, but not all of them are supported for each license type. If you want to see which license type supports each Indicator, then please check the Haasbot License Comparison Page
Trade Bot Safeties
HTS can also protect your investments by utilizing Safeties which also produce trade signals, but are independent of Indicators. Safeties can be utilized to sell if the market price goes down a certain percentage or to buy in if the price reaches a certain user defined threshold. Here is a list of the currently supported Safeties, but not all of them are supported for each license type. If you want to see which license type supports each Safety, then please check the HTS License Comparison Page.
Trade Bot Insurances
Haasbot also incorporates Insurances for determining whether or not a Trade Signal generated from one or more user configured Indicators should be executed or not. Insurances are essentially special conditions that can be utilized to make trades more efficient or overcome trade fees. Here is a list of the currently supported Insurances, but not all of them are supported for each license type. If you want to see which license type supports each Insurance, then please check the Haasbot License Comparison Page.
