Normally HTS requires .NET framework to function on Windows. MacOS however, requires the use of Mono. Mono was created by community in the past and a little while ago Microsoft has taken over the development. Microsoft is very likely working towards 1 solution for all. But before this is ready they will be pushing many updates. These updates have a big impact on HTS. Mono is the leading cause of HTS not working on MacOS.
We also recommend the use of Google Chrome as the browser to interact with HTS.
Should HTS not launch after you initially extracted the file, follow these steps:
- Open your Terminal
- Type in "killall mono" (without the quotes)
- Double click on Haasbot.app again
Still doesn't work? A restart should help you too.
TIP: In case nothing works then please reach out to the support desk so we can have a closer look at the problem.
Mono versions tested to be working properly
Recommended to use the latest Stable Channel Mono version which can be found here: Mono for MacOS (Stable)
